Cute as Halloween Pumpkins

What a delightful surprise!  We got home from Belgium on Thursday night, recovered from jetlag on Friday. Then, we got to take care of Kevin and Zach from Saturday afternoon until Sunday morning. Wild time! Daddy went to the Dodger game and Mommy wasn't home because she was up in SF getting ready to run her first 1/2 marathon in San Jose.  She finished in 2 hours, 8 minutes! What a great time, Tasha.

And speaking of great times, Grandpa and Grandma Dee had a wonderful time going to Adventure Plex with the boys.  After an hour of their running, climbing, racing and sliding, they were hot, sweaty, thirsty and hungry.  (Sounds like 4 of the 7 Dwarfs.) We had In-n-Out burgers and then the boys went on a treasure hunt to find the Halloween decorations I had hidden.  When they found them, they got to keep 5 of the 12 items.  The boys used the rest to decorate our house for Halloween.  It is one of their favorite holidays and they did a great job.

In the morning, Zach helped Grandma Dee make chocolate-nut smoothies, while the boys said they tasted yucky and gobbled up their HoneyNut Cheerios.  Honest, the smoothies are on our diet! Then, Grandma Dee became the tickle monster. Soon it was time for them to go home. (BooHoo.)

We sure had a lot of laughs, tickles, spiders, burgers and Weight Watchers ice cream cups. Kevin said, "Do you think we could go pick out our costumes this morning, too?"  I almost considered it, but Grandpa and I were just way too exhausted.

And a good time was had by all.  The End!
